KANEKA Foods Indonesia (hereafter, “KFI”), we recognize that we have an important responsibility to protect the personal data of the customers (“You” or “Customers”) We therefore ensure that our handling of personal data is done in compliance with Law No 27 of 2022 on Personal Data Protection and all other relevant laws and ordinances and in accordance with the following policy. In addition, KFI will retain your personal data for a period in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Purposes of Use of Personal Data
Personal data provided to KFI by Customers or others will be used only for the purposes which we specified at the time the data was provided, or for purposes permitted by law, or for the purposes provided below (hereafter, collectively, “Purposes of Use”). Personal data will not be used for any other purpose. KFI may use Customers’ personal data for the following purposes intended to facilitate operations at KANEKA Group companies
- Answering, responding to, confirming or managing inquiries, consultations, complaints, demands, and requests for materials those from Customers.
- Advertising of, and providing / collecting / researching / examining / handling information in connection with, products, services, campaigns, etc., communicated via invitation, e-mail, or other such means (regarding these purposes, your usage of KFI products, the KFI website, etc., may be analyzed in order to provide You with information suited to your preferences).
- Providing and managing, as well as providing, proposing or managing information related to, products and services handled by KFI, including the manufacture, processing and sale of food products (hereafter, collectively, “KFI Products and Services”)
- Preventing and addressing fraud and other wrongful actions.
- Conducting marketing surveys and analysis; studying and implementing marketing policies and measures.
- Implementing and analyzing campaigns, planned prize competitions and surveys.
- Improving KFI Products and Services; planning, researching and developing new products and services.
- Exercising rights and fulfilling obligations which are legally or contractually prescribed.
